What Atlas's texts are, how often they come, what they cost and how to stop them.
What the texts are
Globe Life agencies use Atlas to text the people who applied to them for a job. The texts come from the agency's own HeyMarket number, and Atlas writes them for the agency, with Claude, Anthropic's model. They are about the job you applied for:
- a first text about the job, and answers to your questions;
- a time for the agency's CLB, a Career Overview on Zoom, and the Zoom link;
- a reminder or two before the CLB starts;
- after the CLB, the agency's Jotform questionnaire.
How you agree
You agree to receive texts from an agency when you give your phone number on a job application to it, through a job board such as Indeed or ZipRecruiter or through the agency's own hiring, or when you text the agency yourself.
Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or of a job.
How often
Message frequency varies with the conversation. Most people get a few texts about one CLB.
What it costs
Message and data rates may apply, set by your mobile carrier. Neither Atlas nor the agency charges you for a text.
Stopping the texts
Reply STOP to any text, at any time, and the texts from that agency stop. For help, reply HELP, or ask your question in your own words.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your number
Your number and your texts are used only for the job you applied for, by that agency. No mobile information is sold, or shared with anyone for their marketing. The Privacy page says more.
Questions
Ask the agency that texted you, or use Request access and say what you need.
